ArcNova Homes is a Springfield, Missouri custom home builder. We design and construct a small number of residences each year across the Ozarks — each one drawn from scratch, priced honestly, and built like we plan to drive past it for the next forty years. Because we will.
Why We Build
Houses got bigger. Standards got thinner. We went the other way.
Production building optimizes for speed: same plans, same finishes, same corners quietly rounded. ArcNova started as a reaction to that. We believed families in southwest Missouri would choose fewer, better-built homes if a builder actually offered one.
So we set a base specification most builders reserve for their model homes, put it in the contract, and committed to a volume small enough that the people who price your home are the people standing in it during framing.
Every ArcNova home is a bet on the same idea: quality is not a finish level. It's a process you can read on the drawings.

On a drawing set, general notes govern everything on the sheet. These govern everything we do.

Few homes, full attention
We cap how many homes we take on each year. A build that has to compete for its builder’s attention isn’t custom — it’s inventory.

The standard is the standard
Eleven-foot ceilings, European windows, full brick. What other builders sell as an upgrade package is our baseline, in writing, on every home.

A line-item budget before ground breaks, and honest site pricing for Ozarks rock and grade. Surprises belong in housewarming parties, not invoices.

We only build within a short drive of Springfield. Your project manager can be on site in twenty minutes — and usually is.
